The game has a nice track marker system but from what I noticed the zones don’t adjust to your car’s power so it’s mostly a suggestion on when to brake. Being made to compete in a high-powered Corvette C8 is a good way to get your feet wet because you really have to be gentle with the throttle, else the back wheels send you all over the place.
The game starts you hot after that, after creating your racing avatar you get dropped into a 24-car grid for an introductory race that serves as your tutorial. Removing assists increases XP earned, so I turned off every assist except ABS. Racing games usually fall into either simulation or arcade, but in the case of Project CARS 3 it lets you choose how much you want to lean to either side. If you recognize this livery, you are a man of culture as well I’ve spent most of my at-home driving in either Assetto Corsa and Gran Turismo Sport, so the chance to give Project CARS a shot was a no brainer.

Project CARS is one series that made a name for itself on both desktop and console, a name built on beautiful visuals and a solid physics engine, vetted by the community (the CARS in Project CARS stands for Community Assisted Racing Simulator). While no game can let you relive the thrill of being stuck in EDSA traffic for an hour, there are a ton of different options available.
The various community quarantines imposed upon the country has led to not just a surge in bakers, but also simracers.
